SpotOn! Season 2

At Spotify HR, we love to learn from, and get inspired by leaders from around the world who challenge the status quo. And with the SpotOn! podcast, we do just that.

I listened to last season’s SpotOn! episodes with so much curiosity and joy, so I was delighted when the team asked me to host Season 2.

What an honour it has been to speak with thought-leaders across different businesses, industries, world effectivism, the arts and beyond. We’ve touched on so many subjects that I hope are as interesting, inspiring and useful for you, as they are for me.

Season 2 has a particular focus on leaders who have harnessed their own uniqueness to do things that no one else has done before. The thing that stands out from all of them is the way they have drawn on their courage, and been able to show their vulnerabilities.

Season 2 is already well underway, so if you haven’t already tuned in, there’s already some powerful interviews to listen to. The whole season will include eight episodes, and you’ll hear from:

Valeisha Butterfield Jones on shifting culture.

Jason Mayden on servant-leadership and the intersection of innovation and performance.

Caroline Casey on her life’s biggest curveball, and how organizations can upskill to approach disability inclusion in more successful ways.

AD Thomason on poetry and vulnerability in the Black community.

Heidi O’Neil on her 23 year tenure at Nike and maintaining an authentic and groundbreaking brand through it all.

Bing Chen on empowering self expression to build strong communities, and his start as a “third culture kid”.

Katelin Holloway on reimagining HR in the venture capital industry, and doing the “deep culture” work right at the beginning.

Olly Alexander on mental health, growing up in the LGBTQ+ community, and using his platform to inspire authenticity.

As you can see, all our amazing guests are leaders who advocate for equity and self-care among so much adversity in the world today. We learn about the powerful moments that have shaped their lives and how they have disrupted the norm in their own unique ways while hoping to change the world.

Welcome to Season 2 of SpotOn!
