The White House Asian American & Pacific Islanders (AAPI) group invited us to a brief ‘TED Talk’ on their legacy event hosted by Civic Nation. This all-day public event highlights legacy and action under President Obama and beyond, and provides a platform for the national Asian American and Pacific Islander community to mobilize going forward.
Honored to be in a room of so many Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders. Many of who know Spotify as a music provider, but also surprisingly aware of our human resources approach and our way of working on innovative practices.
The great @allynhoang kicked off The White House initiative with some food for thought and a whole lot of energy. Embodying the Fast Forward 2060 logo and living up to the title Mistress of Ceremonies #FF2060
Spotify’s innovative and creative HR solutions
My talk focused on how Spotify gets to these innovative and creative HR solutions and Spotify’s Diversity and Inclusion practices and case studies. I did a deep-dive into our global paid parental leave policy and ended the talk with a call to action: what individuals can do to drive better D&I and the parental leave policy in their own organisations.
